I’ve been moving all my sites over to Dreamhost this month. I like that they have pretty much unlimited space, free domain registrations, and an unlimited number of sites you can host on your one account. (I’m hoping to figure out how to back up my hard drive to my account space.)

Chutney will be visiting family the next several days, so blogging will probably be light. (Well, it’s already been light this week.)
The topic this month for the Unitarian Blog Carnival is work. And apparently we’re all working pretty hard, because we only got two submissions. Not even Kinsi and I, who work together and thought up the topic, got our acts together on this one.
Fausto confesses that a new painting in his office of a Unitarian landmark church won’t keep him on the straight and narrow. Ms. Theologian counsels us to consider if we want to be the kind of persons who work in competitive and alienating workplaces and suggests a meditation technique to help us figure it out.

Cactus, Texas, a small town just around the corner from where my wife grew up, saw an immigration raid yesterday that arrested 300 illegal immigrants. Some 400 children are left behind. Right before Christmas.
The WordPress back end is functional, to be sure, but, well, dog butt ugly. Good thing that Ordered List just released version 3.0 of his Tiger Admin plugin. I thought 2.0 was great, but 3.0 had me just sitting there saying, “Wow…” It feels like a whole new WordPress.
