My new boss busts a move

We’ve been in an interim period at UUCA for a couple of years now, and I have some very, very good news today: we called Rev. Anthony David to be our new senior minister—with 99.1% of the vote.

And I have to think that Dance Dance Revolution played its part. Here he is at a party this Friday night with our 20/30s group:

That wasn’t the only dancing this weekend either—several longtime members broke out their moves after the vote was announced. To the tune of “Let It Be a Dance,” of course.

It’s going to be a good time this fall.

OKC Memorial toward First UMCTomorrow will be the twelfth anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. One hundred and sixty-eight people died that day.
