Is US healthcare really the best in the world?

02.08.03 | Comment?

Answer? Not by a long shot. In an article published in the medical journal JAMA the US conistently ranks next to last in comparison to other industiralized democracies, getting bested by military powerhouses the likes of Finland, Netherlands, and Belgium. The only nation to rank consitently lower was Germany, half of which was communist a dozen years ago. Much lambasted for it’s “socialist medicine,” Canada ranks third.

But the US still has the best healthcare in the world, right? Good, cause I’d hate for the insurance companies to take a hit. That would be un-American. I’ll bet our healthcare’s better than Iraq’s any day of the week, you pinko bastard!
