My lightbox came in yesterday, and I managed to flip it on this morning when the alarm went off the first time. Feel alert and energetic, even a little silly. Woot!

My lightbox came in yesterday, and I managed to flip it on this morning when the alarm went off the first time. Feel alert and energetic, even a little silly. Woot!
Light sounds good to me as it’s now dark at 5. But at least that’s better than a month ago.
One of my favorite episodes of Northern Exposure is when Walt got addicted to his light box. For anyone who has experienced depression or SAD, it’s full of opportunities for laughter of recognition as Walt’s life improves dramatically with additional light.
I believe it.
Light therapy is GRAND and uncrankifies me!
But there’s a reason we use them in the morning and not at night when we get home from work — your body won’t even start to settle down for sleep until at least 3 hours after you turn it off.
