As the father of a 4-year-old, I can recognize this vain attempt at fervent discipline. It stands to reason that licking such public surfaces as tables, windows, and car bumpers would also be a “should not do” sort of thing, alas the little boy explores his world with the wisdom of a goat.

Now that is my favorite new phrase. I’m going to be sure to use that three times in the next week.
