Introducing Rev. Jill Acevedo-Milton and First UU’s coffee chalice. (Click image to view full strip.)
And for the comments: Got a better name for the good reverend?
(Also: Added a “coffee houur” category so you can click it in the category list to pull them all up.)
Oh G_d.
That’s a good one! You really should claim the intellectual property rights to the coffee cup chalice idea if it is indeed original to you before the UUA appropriate it as a registered trademark. . .
I am pretty sure that the U*U who came up with the UUA’s ‘Uncommon Denomination’ advertising slogan was either consciously, or perhaps subliminally. . . inspired by my UNSAFE SECT? picket sign slogan that I displayed in front of 25 Beacon Street back in May 2000. ;-)
Of course I am still waiting for U*Us to wake up and smell the Bridgehead coffee. . .
We discriminate against tea drinkers….
Ok Chuts – I’ll admit the coffee chalice is cute.
But this minister’s name? Were you more delusional than usual when you thought of that?
And that minister is too Christian. Its obvious by his bad hair and black lipstick.
Rev. Dr. Juan Valdez Jr?
Thanks for being a good sport Chutney. It’s appreciated.
No need to publish this thank-you note.
We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every bean.
That’s a good one Kevin!
But surely it would be preferable to say, “We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every sentient bean. . .” ;-)
