New Years seems a good time to look around for a web host. I’m pretty happy with the one I’ve got now, but does anyone have any recommendations for a good one. I’d need Apache (for htaccess) and multiple MySQL account.

Thinking of going there myself.
I like and use Verve Hosting (vervehosting.com) — the $7.50 account should do you.
Verve and WEBster are rated very highly on epinions.com. Verve has some nifty plans . I don’t know much about WEBster.
I’ve had a great experience with Verve. Their customer service has been terrifically responsive.
I use godaddy.com and haven’t had any problems.
I would recommend Dreamhost.com I switched to them a little over a month ago and have been extremely pleased. They’re are several plans but the most basic meets my needs. They even increase you disk space by 40Mb/month. Not too shabby… If you want free activation drop me an email… they let their members offer coupons/discounts to others.

I LOVE Bluehost. They rock. Lots of space for Cheap! I had so many problems with my old place, and this place even has a phone number you can call 24/7. They are super helpful, and offer pretty much anything you need (I think you are using WP; they have a one click install, so you could just move over in probably 5 minutes). If you want to join, there is a link on my site; I will even split the $60 referral fee with ya (no seriously!)! That makes your price go way down…. =o) Just something to think about, right? Either way, hope you find someone you like!
