What’s that, you say? Permalinks are where blog posts live when they fall off the front page due to old age. That way, if someone wants to link to one of my posts, they’ll have a link that just goes to the post they want, and they won’t have to worry about it falling off the front page when it gets old. Nifty, ain’t it?

You can get the permalink for any of my posts by clicking on the post’s headline and checking your browser’s address field. Old links still work fine, so no need to change anything. I’m hoping the new permalink structure will make it easier to track traffic on individual posts.
