Why I want a big raise, dammit. (No, I said a big raise.)
And a little factoid for HR: I don’t pay my bills in percentages. So you can shut the hell up about how big that thing you call a “raise” is.
And while I’m thinking about, I’ll take more vacation time too, thanks.
I owe $155,000 in student loans.
I am not really sure what that means.
With my student loans, credit cards, car payments, and mortgate (for my postage stamp 2br 1ba in the hood), I’m right there with you.
The Take Back Your Time thing is very cool.
It’s not just work though, it’s ambition. At the moment, I’m trying to juggle a full-time job, getting my masters, being in 2 bands, another business on the side, and taking care of 3 cats. It’s hard. But I can’t really say I’d give up any of those things. I think that allowing time for exercise and meditation are key. Luckily yoga is both ;)
What are some things we all do everyday that waste time? The biggest thing for me, I think, is being a perfectionist.
