Everytime you show doubt like that, it’s like putting another nail in the hand of baby Jeebus.

hard to believe i’m still a United Methodist but i am. yes, church leaders still say and do some stupid things but i know not everyone in the UMC holds those beliefs. at times i do question my loyalty to a denomination that is anything but loyal to me. but, someone has to work for change, right? what can i say, i’m a social worker—we love challenges like this.
well, just thirty or so years ago a female minister was considered blasphemous. Religious correctness has a lot to do with where we are in social evolution. Thanks to the information revolution, we’ve just now started to shake off the dust from the Dark Ages.
Petrel, that’s good news, to be sure. But I’d hold off on celebration until General Conference this summer. The cynic in me doubts they’ll let the ruling stand.
help me jeebus!
