Amerikunt is so subtle, how can you not like it?
Yes, subtle in comparison to a group I saw a couple of birthdays ago: Jeniphoria.
Jeniphoria’s schtick comes from their leather-clad, camel-toed female front singing to a room full of washed up metal heads who think tonight might be their lucky night. My favorite lyric of the evening was, “Pet my pussy baby / Pet me now / Meow meow meow.”
Intrigued by our name you say? Well I’ll tell you…My drummer and I were very drunk, at the highlander most likely. And he was asking me about this girl I know, “dude, that chick is fucking hot!”. “Yes she is” I replied”. “She’s a friend of yours right?” He asked. And in my drunken state I was to concoct a word that not only describes an event we all know well but inspired him to thik we should name the band after it when I said; “She was until one night when I DEFRIENDED her.”
And that is the tale. And if you’ve never either defriended or been defriended then you need to get out more and live a little mutherfucker.
Call something intriguing, get called a motherfucker. Now I know.
That should tell you what kind of people play in that band.
